Studio PAVAS is a private school of the arts offering high quality year-round educational instruction in the Performing and Visual Arts for students of all ages (children, teens and adults). Since 1997, more than 12,000 students have attended classes at Studio PAVAS located in southwest Mississauga, bordering southeast Oakville, and central to Clarkson, Lorne Park, Oakville, Port Credit, and Erin Mills.
Enjoy learning with professional instructors in a positive, relaxed and friendly setting. Students choose from a complete arts program, including visual arts, music (vocal, instrumental, ensembles and band), drama and dance (technique and competitive), for individuals and families through private, semi-private and small group classes.
Students have the opportunity to highlight their achievements at the end of each teaching year through multiple showcases for each program. Studio PAVAS theatre program has proudly produced a major musical production each year since 2001, offering students the opportunity to work with a full team of professional and the experience to perform in a professional theatre venue.
Studio PAVAS has over 16,000 square feet of space especially designed to support dance, acting, music and visual arts instruction. The studio space includes professional mirrored sprung dance floors, a waiting area with studio camera viewing, controlled entrance and exit, change rooms, homework area, a recording studio and a rehearsal / performance space, as well as a well equipped gym for private personal fitness training.
Students achieve personal and professional success by balancing school, family, friends, with their enjoyment and passion for the arts. Many have performed in commercials, movies, TV series, community theatre, elementary and high school arts performances, and college / university programs. Graduating students continue their post secondary education in all areas of study or enter the working world having acquired the life skills, passion and drive to succeed.

Studio Director / Owner
Suzanne has a background with more than 40 years of experience with children, families, teachers, and programs. Her professional career was as a senior manager in Ontario's Children's Services for provincial, city, county, regional government, and colleges and universities. As the Director of Studio PAVAS, Suzanne recognizes the need for high quality, community based arts education that should be a positive and lifelong experience. Suzanne was nominated for the RBC WOMAN ENTREPENEUR 2000, as well as for the Mississauga Board of Trade 2010 Small Business Award.
Suzanne's artistic experience includes many years in music and art, and over 34 years as a gold-level figure skating competitive dance and test judge. Respected on the judging panel, Suzanne chaired a national task force focused on developing an evaluation standard appropriate to the needs and abilities of skaters at different stages in their physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. Suzanne's experience as a manager and director, educator and administrator in the field of Children's Services has led her to a specific and practical philosophy concerning the needs of young people who are drawn to the arts and the positive role of artistic education in the development to minds, bodies and social perspectives - Find your talent and your passion and make it your life long's work.
